 Mission and Philosophy

Archangels Academy, School of Special Education is an Archdiocesan School dedicated to teaching 4 1/2 to 16
year old children who have developmental and intellectual disabilities. Rooted in Gospel values, the school works together with parents to promote love of God and
respect for the dignity of each person.

Archangels Academy implements a functional academics
and life skills program designed to develop the whole child spirituality, socially and academically within a small group setting. The school nurtures each student's growth, helping students become independent and active members of the communities in which they live thus enhancing the dignity
and worth of the special person in society. In this way, Archangels Academy, School of Special Education strives
to fulfill the words of Jesus:
"Love one another as I have loved you."
